What we offer
Altram Training
Altram delivers a wide variety of training programmes. We promote the provision of high quality early years childcare through the medium of Irish – from accredited training to bespoke workshops. Training is provided primarily for Irish-medium early years practitioners, however we do offer support clinics for management committees and facilitate sessions for parents also. Practice Related
The Early Years Specialist team deliver cluster training, networking events, leadership forums and engages with external training bodies to commission relevant training for the sector. This guides the delivery of high-quality Irish immersion play, curricular and learning experiences and builds capacity within the workforce. Altram also signposts relevant external training opportunities.
Safeguarding
Altram offers accredited Safeguarding training which is compliant with regional safeguarding procedures and HSCT regulations. This training is available to our members only.
External Training
As part of our role we provide a support service to Irish medium early years management committees. We often work in conjunction with relevant stakeholders to host management clinics which provide advice and guidance. Contact us for further information.
